Should philosophy be left to professors in academia? Or, is it a field open to everyone?
I’ve been a philosopher outside of academia for a few years. I’ve been publishing articles, videos, books, and I’ve been traveling the world, interviewing professors from elite universities about big ideas.
To Professor Jason Brennan, that’s not good enough. He says he needs $1000 to even read my book, but if I pay him, he’ll also write a 1200-word review that he will try to get published in an academic journal.
